For my new followers and readers, this post is part of my quilting event. I have decided to briefly walk through the process it takes to make a quilt! However, let me just say that I am NOT a professional quilter. :)
This quilt contains 13 rows with 13 squares in each row. I have officially sewn all 169 squares together into rows! Check it out…
To keep all of the rows organized, I labeled the first square of each row with a small sticky note with the corresponding row number. As I finished sewing a row, I would place it underneath the stack.
After I finished sewing all of the squares into rows, it was time to lay it out to make sure I didn’t mess anything up! Thankfully, it came out perfect! Here is a layout of what the quilt will look like once the rows are sewn together!
I am in LOVE with the way it looks! Please keep in mind that it has not been ironed yet. Before I begin sewing the rows together, I will iron the seams flat and make sure there are no wrinkles in the fabric.
I will update again once the rows are sewn together!
Thank you for supporting and following my blog! I really appreciate it! I hope everybody is having a wonderful week!
With love,
This is gorgeous!
